Hello all, I'm looking for ideas on a subject I know nothing about; using
my 144v, 22 kwh conversion ev as a battery backup for my house.
I'm not concerned about the transfer switch part, that would be pretty
straight forward. What I'm wondering is how to go about finding an
(affordable) inverter to take up to 165vdc and put out pure sine wave
110vac. I think 25 or 30 amps output would be plenty.
I've seen industrial inverters online that have the right specs, the kind
that don't even bother to list the price
<https://novaelectric.com/product/240-vdc-nominal-input-pure-sine-wave-output/>.
I'm waiting on "estimates" from several sources. This particular one could
be cheap enough, who knows? Still waiting.
What I'm wondering is if I'm even barking up the right tree. Anyone have
any thoughts?
