<div dir="ltr"><div>Forwarded from Arts Council of Lake Oswego:</div><div><b>IN ARTSPACE THIS SATURDAY<br>Poetry Reading with Ash Wyatt,<br>Francesca Capone, & Sam Lohmann<br>March 9, 3–5 p.m.</b><br><a href="https://artscouncillo.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=46a37ebcf3d41567f53c68d0e&id=892545717f&e=3be5fdc01d">LEARN ABOUT THE POETS</a><br></div><div><br></div>Please join us for a poetry reading in conjunction with the current exhibition, <a href="https://artscouncillo.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=46a37ebcf3d41567f53c68d0e&id=09e633d3ed&e=3be5fdc01d">Moon Rabbit</a>. The exhibition features the work of two Washington-born individuals, artist Jean Isamu Nagai and artist and poet Ash Wyatt. The readers include Ash Wyatt, Francesca Capone, and Sam Lohmann.<br><br>Ash Wyatt’s self-published zine,<i> Somos Fantasmas</i>, in English, <i>We Are Ghosts</i>, weaves her dreamy drawings with handwritten text. Somos Fantasmas explores bi-racial identity as her physical shape flows through various states and forms, eventually dissolving into formlessness. <div><br></div><div>Francesca Capone will be reading from her book series, <i>Weaving Language</i>, which examines the poetics of weaving traditions through historical research and contemporary practices. Attempting to dismantle and rebuild commonplace understandings of the history of writing, Weaving Language focuses on fiber-based forms as a longstanding but often overlooked medium for record-keeping, storytelling, and poetry. </div><div><br></div><div>Sam Lohmann will read an excerpt from a new long diaristic poem called "Liniment."<br><br>All three poets will have their books for sale. Light refreshments will be served.<br><br>ARTS COUNCIL OF LAKE OSWEGO<br>ARTSPACE GALLERY | 380 A Ave, Suite A, Lake Oswego, OR 97034<br>Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 AM—5 PM<br>Visit <a href="http://artscouncillo.org">artscouncillo.org</a> for more information or call 503.272.1214<br></div></div>
