Corless-Smith</b> was born in Worcestershire, England, and
studied painting at the University of Reading, before moving to
the USA, where he obtained an MFA in painting/printmaking at
Southern Methodist University, an MFA in poetry from the
University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop and a Ph.D at the University
of Utah. He teaches on the Creative Writing programme at Boise
State University and edits the Free Poetry imprint. He is the
author of 13 books, most recently <i>The Melancholy of Anatomy</i>
(Shearsman), <i>The Poet's Tomb, Essays</i> (Parlor Press), and <i>Odious
Horizons: Some Versions of Horace</i> (Miami University Press).<br>

<div><b>Peter Gizzi </b>is the author of <i>Fierce Elegy</i>
(2023), <i>Now It’s Dark</i> (2020), and <i>Archeophonics</i>,
all from Wesleyan UP. In 2020 Carcanet published <i>Sky Burial:
New and Selected Poems</i> and later this year, Penguin UK will
bring out an expanded edition of <i>Fierce Elegy</i>. Editing
projects have included <i>The House That Jack Built: The
Collected Lectures of Jack Spicer</i> (Wesleyan, 1998); and with
the late Kevin Killian, <i>My Vocabulary Did This to Me: The
Collected Poetry of Jack Spicer</i> (Wesleyan, 2008). He teaches
poetry and poetics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. <br>
<b><br>
Alice Hall </b>is the author of <i>Universal Casket</i>
(Quarterly West 2021) and is a PhD candidate at SUNY Buffalo’s
Poetics Program. Her work can be found in<i> P-QUEUE, Poets.org,
Quarterly West, Prelude, The Yalobusha Review, DIAGRAM</i>,
& other venues. Her newest project is a collection of
hand-bound artist's books considering the destruction of the
streetcar system in Buffalo, New York, titled <i>THE SKY IS FULL
OF VIOLENCE</i>. She teaches writing at Portland Community
College. <br>
