<b>Susan M. Schultz</b> is the author of <i>Lilith Walks</i>
(BlazeVox, 2022) and <i>I Want to Write an Honest Sentence</i>
(Talisman, 2019), as well as several volumes of <i>Memory Cards</i>
and two of <i>Dementia Blog</i>. She founded Tinfish Press in
1995 and was its editor for twenty-three years. She is a lifelong
fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.<br>
<br>
<b>Norman Fischer</b> is a poet, essayist, and Soto Zen Buddhist
priest. His recent poetry titles are <i>Nature</i>, <i>There Was
a Clattering As…</i>, <i>The Museum of Capitalism</i>, and <i>Men
in Suits</i>. Chax Press brought out his <i>Selected Poems
1980-2013</i> in 2022. His <i>Experience: On Thinking, Writing,
Language and Religion</i> was published in the Poetics Series by
University of Alabama Press in 2016, and his latest Buddhist title
is <i>When You Greet Me I Bow: Notes and Reflections from a Life
in Zen</i>. He lives in Muir Beach CA with his wife Kathie, also
a Zen priest. He is the founder of the Everyday Zen Foundation
(wwww.everydayzen.org).<br>
<br>
<b>Jeanne Heuving</b>'s recent publications include <i>Mood
Indigo</i> (selva oscura) and <i>Brilliant Corners</i> (Chax);
she is the editor of <i>Nathaniel Mackey, Destination Out</i> (U
Iowa Press) and coeditor, along with Tyrone Williams, of <i>Inciting
Poetics: Thinking and Writing Poetry</i> (Recencies Series, U
New Mexico). Other books include <i>Incapacity</i> (Chiasmus), <i>Transducer</i>
(Chax), and <i>Omissions Are Not Accidents: Gender in the Art of
Marianne Moore</i> (Wayne State). Heuving is a professor in the
Interdisciplinary Arts and Science program at UW Bothell and is on
the graduate faculty in the English Department at UW Seattle. She
founded the MFA in Creative Writing & Poetics at UW Bothell
and served as its first director.<br>
