In the latest episode of the /Artists’ Books Unshelved/ video series,
host Yuka Petz looks at and discusses two artist's books that originate
in performance, /I wish to say . . . vol. 2/ by Sheryl Oring, and
/Selected Durations/, published by the Black Rock Press at the
University of Nevada in Reno in 2017, which features my text (a score
for verbal performance), in a format initally conceived and prototyped
by Katherine Kuehn, and ultimately designed and realized by Amy Thompson.

I'm very gratified that the book was selected for the series, and
thoroughly pleased with the treatment, and so I humbly invite you to
view the ten-minute episode on the Bainbridge Museum's /YouTube/ channel
via this link:

Many thanks to Yuka Petz for her engagement with the work; to Inge
Bruggeman for her solicitation of the book for publication by the Black
Rock Press; to Buzz Spector for his essay that accompanies the
publication; but above all to the genius of Katherine Kuehn and Amy
Thompson, whose collaborations were responsible for the extraordinary
realization of the work in book form.

Note: The /Artists’ Books Unshelved/ episode includes an excerpt from a
recorded performance of the text; the complete performance (just two
minutes long) can be viewed here:
