*Kit Schluter* is a poet, translator, and bookmaker. Among his books are 
the poetry collection, /Pierrot’s Fingernails/ (Canarium Books), the 
book of stories /5 Cartoons /(Juan Malasuerte Editores), and the recent 
chapbook /Erosion — Thousand Flies of Unadulterated Bliss/ (Cryptid 
Editions). He has translated widely from the French and Spanish, 
including Rafael Bernal’s /His Name Was Death/ (New Directions) and 
three books by Marcel Schwob (Wakefield Press). Forthcoming translations 
include the /Lantana/ trilogy by late young Mexican poet bruno darío 
(Ugly Duckling Presse) and Uruguayan author Mario Levrero’s /The 
Thinking-About-Gladys Machine/ (And Other Stories, collaborative 
translation with Annie McDermott). He is director of design at Nightboat 
Books, and lives in Mexico City.

*Tatiana Lipkes* is a poet, translator, and founding member of the 
independent press MaNgOs De HaChA, which has brought the work of writers 
such as Charles Olson, Susan Howe, and Ronald Johnson into Spanish. She 
is author of /Todos los días son días de fiesta/ (MdH), /Repulsión, Rojo 
de cadmio/ (Oumuamua Press), /a pesar de todo — in spite of ourselves/, 
translated into English by Robin Myers (Juan de la Cosa) and one book of 
interviews with filmmakers, /13 +8 entrevistas a cineastas 
contemporáneos/. She has translated widely from the works of 
L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E poetry, including Lyn Hejinian’s /My Life/. She was born 
and raised in Mexico City.

*Joshua Pollock* is the translator of José Vicente Anaya’s /Híkuri/ 
(Peyote) [The Operating System] and Salvador Elizondo’s /The Secret 
Crypt/ [Dalkey Archive], published last year. Some of his poems can be 
found in the journals /Vestiges, jubilat, FE, Datableed, /and/Diagram/, 
among other places. He lives in Portland Oregon, where he works as the 
Library Operations Coordinator for Street Books.
