There's an electric Jeep in Eugene for sale, that a shop in Bellinham, Washington converted to electric a few years ago. It has a battery issue. The owner is Adam 818-943-1156. This was his first car (before it was converted) and he's pretty attached as you can imagine. But he needs better primary transportation and is considering his options. He asked me to share that he's interested in offers. I have no idea what he wants for it.

<li class="default-style">Some good components, but probably one of the first conversions done by its builder.</li>

Adam reached out to me about a year ago when it stopped working. The primary issue seemed to be that two battery modules had failed because they were not mounted securely. They were swapped out with new (used) modules, but Adam didn't want to wait for my schedule to build an improved battery box and has been driving it ever since, just as it was.

Recently the vehicle has two more failed modules in a different position and it is parked again. There's no "smoking gun" to tell us the failures were not from a bad batch of Tesla modules to begin with, but I strongly believe the battery module mounting system should be replaced.
