Dear Corvallis EV Club,

It's been a good number of years since I have been to a meeting, but I only
recently moved back to Oregon full time. I used to come out before the
pandemic and I helped out Kirk a bit back in the day.

I have a truck/trailer combination that I've been slowly upgrading into a
mobile stage and/or parade vehicle. This year I'm working to upgrade the
truck so it has a high output alternator and hoping to have a battery pack
and inverter setup on both the truck and the trailer to supply AC power
both while the truck is running and off grid for a certain amount of time.

My business is not a non-profit, but I do offer this setup essentially for
free to keep music accessible within the community. We often work with
nonprofits that don't have comprehensive budgets. The trailer will be
returning to Da Vinci Days this year, and we have some other parades and
community events on the calendar as well.

Does anyone have any deep cycle 12v batteries they can sell me? Also,
looking for at least one inverter to get to 120VAC (hoping ultimately to
have two: one for the truck and one for the trailer). Size and weight are
nothing to consider for the truck or the trailer: it can be heavy and I
have plenty of space to work with. I've upgraded a lot of my musical
equipment so I'm not drawing a lot of continuous amps: my full PA setup
clocks in at about 6A, so realistically I'm thinking I can size for a
typical 20A circuit. Given the initial usage frequency (currently a couple
times a summer) I am OK with buying something used that might be a good
chunk of the way through its service life.

I'm open to other voltages but since the truck is of course a 12V system,
sticking with 12V seemed like the obvious choice.

Please contact me if you have anything you are willing to part with! Just
looking for a good deal on something. Figured this group would be my best
bet to find something local.
