  Dear corvalis ev group.

I want to thank Mostly Otmar and the rest of you for being a help with 
the  24 kw to 40 kw  conversion.  I've been studying this for several 
years trying to find a battery that I know is in good shape and local to 
use.  I was looking at salvage yards auctions in  portland that offers a 
whole car that is in some crashed condition.
many of the online auctions show photos but most don't show the GOM or 
miles so that the battery health can be seen. then theres  sign up fees, 
shipping fees, personal verification. plus getting rid of the body when 
done!!

Otmars shop, tools , knowledge, kind patience, programing skills, etc.. 
help make it happen. Then there was many of you with special skills and 
knowledge that helped to!!

Evrides in portland wants $12,000 or  more, plus getting the car up 
there.

Getting the battery here in town, with 30 day warranty, plus ottars 
trailer, otmars
made a device to read the battery out of the car to read it with leaf 
spy. I'm still getting used to see 120 miles on my GOM.

my old battery would have still made my  around town trips for many 
years but know I can go much further!!

In the further maybe i'll have  pizza feed for you all.
