My 2011 Leaf CV is finally fixed and back in service - whew!

It took about 4 months for Kiefer Nissan to find a used VCM and get it in; it turned out to be defective as well and they wanted to quit.
I requested that they send the defective used unit back and get another one.  6 weeks later the unit came in and about 4 hours later my car was fixed.

Does anyone in the club know where I can find help getting my 2011 Nissan Leaf running again?
Kiefer Nissan says it needs a new VCM and so far they've been unsuccessful with their first try with a used repair part, and they want to give up.
My Leaf has a new battery and is in wonderful shape, I don't want to just trash it due to the "I Key" error that showed up and bricked the car.  The  code stated the VCM is bad.
The 'new' used VCM that Kiefer procured on Ebay was difficult for them to program and now isn't communicating with various modules in the car (although the display is no longer displaying "I Key error")
The current communication diagram for the VCM is attached.
Any advice?
