Thanks Kirk, the video did come through. That car looks nice!

And thanks to everyone in this group who replied - this list is an awesome resource for our community! It's already been super helpful to steer more toward enclosed on road vehicles like Think, Focus, Spark, Leaf, i3, etc. I will summarize the feedback and share with others at OSU. And as usual, we probably won't move quickly as an institution but want to start off in the right direction. Thanks,
Brandon

Hello,

I have a Think City for consideration at $6k. It is red and has 9k miles and has been garaged. I will add a slideshow of images but I'm not sure if they will get through to the distribution list.

It is very easy to drive. The Enerdel lithium battery provided over 100 mile range when new. I can't promise that, but I have recently driven 76 miles on one charge. It is in mint condition. Air conditioning and heat work. I'm happy to put you in touch with the US parts supplier if interested.

I bought this for my grandmother. But it turns out she also needs to drive on trails that are restricted to golf carts and this car is not allowed.

If there are no takers (OSU or others on this list) I will be posting it for sale publicly next week.

Kirk Swaney

Hi all,
There has recently been increased interest from some department leaders at OSU in electric vehicles for on and around the Corvallis campus. The need is for short range people haulers - utility vehicles and longer range vehicles for out of town (100+ miles) are part of a separate conversation that is moving slower, but also happening.

For main campus needs, we are looking at options like Archimoto, Club Car, used Nissan Leafs and various things from Polaris. We have many Kubota products but I can't find an electric offering for the US market. From the little recent web browsing I've done, a used Leaf seems to best fit the bill. Our priorities for this vehicle include:

* Enclosed for winter (heat nice but not required)

* At least 25 MPH capable, but preferably 35

* 40+ mile range, but more is better (of course!)

* Most important: maintainable, from an established vendor with good parts availability and/or local support. Nothing experimental or with a mixed track record. Tolerance for premature failure (Gem anyone??) is very low.

If there are vehicles in the space "between" NEVs and full on road EVs, I'd love to hear more. Other thoughts appreciated! Thanks,
Brandon
