See the latest on electric airplane development by David Ullman and the Doka-Leaf Project by Curt Anderson.   Meet Wed 7:00PM at 621 Aeronca St.  Independence.

 

For those not familiar with what is here:

1.	Curt Anderson is converting a VW pickup (Doka) to electric using the guts of a Leaf.  The Doka shell is on a rotisserie so it can be flipped upside down for working on the bottom.  The Leaf guts are breadboarded for testing.  If you ever wanted to see all the parts of a commercial electric car system, this is the chance.
2.	Ullman is developing an electric airplane propulsion system.  He has built a rather large wind tunnel (by home built stds) and is testing  concepts in it.  It will be demonstrated.
3.	EAA 292 clubhouse now has eight projects in it ranging from ultralights to parts of a B-17.  Will tour this if there is demand.
