[Caevlist] Corvallis EV club gathering (7/9)

Hi Folks,

 

A quick reminder that the Corvallis EV Club monthly gathering is Tomorrow,
7/9. In addition to the usual show & tell, here's what we're anticipating: 

 

.         Check out Michaels new Mitsubishi i "MiEV".

.         Calling for EV's at the da Vinci Days "Green Town" (July 19-21) -
Larry Plotkin will explain.

.         Another da Vinci Days EV event is the "Electrathon America", ultra
efficient electric go-kart races. Want the best seats to watch? Consider
being a race volunteer on 7/20 and/or 7/21. Just arrive at the track (OSU,
Reser Stadium) at 10AM - or earlier. Ask for Mike Hodgert. He's the
President of Electrathon America, and will provide directions.  The cars are
quiet and quick, so you may be asked to help warn unsuspecting spectators
not to step into the track area. Or, be a corner marshal, or be a lap
counter for race car teams.  If interested, please send Mike Hodgert a short
email in advance at mhodgert at bethel.k12.or.us.

.         If you have something to bring or request for tomorrow, you're
welcome to reply to this list and share.

Subject: Corvallis EV club meeting postponed to (7/9)

 

Due to the July 4th week being busy for many folks, we're moving the July ev
club meeting to the 9th. 7PM, at Otmar's shop. 

 

Newcomers & friends are welcome. 

 

This meeting location:

2255 SE Crystal Lake Dr, 97333. It's the big red garage. If you bring your
EV, please park inside the shop if there is room for show and tell. Plenty
of overflow parking for non-electric vehicles is available in the main
driveway and the next two driveways to the south which have no residents.
Charging is available: 115V, 14-50's and J1772 at 32A. Also a 100A tap for
anyone who wants to charge really fast but you have to bring your own
socket.

 

We hope to see Michaels  Mitsubishi i "MiEV". If anyone else has something
interesting to bring or request, please reply to the list and share.
